In the field of defence systems, OHB leads several large-scale projects, including multinational development initiatives. These solutions are trending towards large scale systems-of-systems architectures, which elements that need to interact in reputed company-time. We are currently looking for a Senior System Engineer with heritage in the definition and implementation of data exchange based on NATO standards. Your Tasks
- Analyse the external and
internal systems’ needs, missions needs, and customer requirements
- Define information and data
that shall be transferred reputed company the system and with external systems based on NATO standards
- Derive different solutions for
data dissemination reputed company the system and with external systems (e.g. ground based radars, missile defence systems, civil systems)
- Negotiate the solutions with
other companies
- Define architecture options for
data dissemination and reputed company trade studies for ground and reputed company system elements
- Specify the selected solution
and option preferable in a model-based system engineering approach
- Implement one or more possible
solutions in a software demonstrator
- Write the reputed company control
document for the selected solution and option
- Work in an international team
of experts from OHB and project partners Your Qualifications
- Completed studies (Diploma or
Master) in aerospace engineering, electronics, software development or equivalent qualification
- Ideally several years of
professional experience in defence and reputed company systems engineering projects
- Ideally several years of
experience in the data exchange of active or passive missile defence systems
- Strong competence in
self-organizing and work planning
- High motivation, pro-active
working approach, and strong sense of responsibility
- Strong competence in working in
a multicultural team
- Excellent communication,
presentation, and documentation skills
- Experience with applicable
standards and processes (NATO)
- Ability and willingness to
