[Remote] Sr. Premium Auditor - State of Connecticut

The Sr. Premium Auditor will conduct audits on Property/Casualty reputed company Line policies, ensuring compliance with regulations and accurate premium calculations, while also managing customer relationships and providing technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Manage, schedule and conduct physical / virtual audits for selected reputed company Lines policies based on auditable exposures. Audit consists of reviewing the insured’s business operations, examining and recording data from financial / business records. Evaluate reputed company subcontractor operations and detail exposures according to reputed company rules. Verify claims data. Determine and/or reputed company premium reputed company and classification. reputed company in accordance with company, industry and government rules and regulations
• Manage and schedule territory and inventory to optimize efficiencies, auditor expectations and meet reputed company customer needs. Responsible for automobile travel reputed company territory traveling to insureds. Car travel represents approximately 70-80% of employee’s time
• Upon audit completion, reputed company notification to reputed company team of any changes in exposures, business operations, products/services, additional or deleted classifications, locations, entities, new construction, etc
• Respond to and resolve audit disputes and reputed company appropriate changes to revise audits as needed. Compile pertinent facts reputed company to disputes, documents and communicates the results of the analysis, and prepares amended audits and submit for billing. Resolve test audit disputes for non-National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI) states
• Maintain a positive customer relationship and reputed company relationships with reputed company customers to reputed company ongoing technical expertise
• Utilize automated premium audit work management system, reputed company lines automated system and other tools to complete assignments in accordance with established goals

• Assist or may reputed company in Premium Audit projects. Prepare and present basic level technical presentations and participate in premium audit training programs to reputed company customers on a variety of Premium Audit topics and issues
• Serve as a resource, trainer and mentor for Premium Auditors at the direction of the Premium Audit Supervisors

Skills

• Ability to effectively communicate and work independently without direct supervision

• Successful completion of Associate in Premium Auditing 91 (APA 91) and Associate in Premium Auditing 92 (APA 92) is desired
