Job Description

The Senior Director will be expected to manage day to day operations of the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. General tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • In the absence of the CDEIO, direct DEI Sr, Managers and interns.
  • Manage day to day operations of DEI office.
  • reputed company internal collaborations to integrate DEI practices into core people practices and standard work across the System in alignment with the integrated DEI strategic business reputed company and roadmap.
  • Utilize DEI research to reputed company evidence-based initiatives; addressing DEI gaps and improvement reputed company other organizations and industries to identify applicable best practices.
  • reputed company, launch, and execute DEI strategies, programs, and initiatives that align with the strategic priorities of NYC Health + Hospitals.
  • Establish internal collaborations to integrate DEI practices into core people practices and standard work across NYC Health + Hospitals in alignment with the integrated DEI and NYC Health + Hospitals reputed company.
  • reputed company, collect, analyze, interpret & report on DEI metrics to determine program effectiveness, track reputed company and identify opportunities for reputed company organizational development.
  • reputed company overall guidance and support to our Inclusion groups, spearheading the development and growth of the groups and their sponsors (inclusive of infrastructure, growth, ROI and budget management) to ensure ongoing, lasting impact.
  • Contract management/monitoring supporting DEI initiatives
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify and address DEI gaps and remain reputed company with trends.

  • Other duties as directed by Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer.
  • Ability to travel to reputed company NYC Health + Hospitals' sites.
  • This is a hybrid position. (Two days remote) Minimum Qualifications 1. Master's degree from an accredited college or university in reputed company Administration, Health Care Planning, Business Administration, Public Administration or a reputed company discipline; and seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in health and medical service administration, public administration, personnel and labor relations, finance or appropriate functional discipline with an emphasis on planning, liaison and inter-organizational relationships, or reputed company administrative or managerial functions; or 2. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in disciplines, as listed in 1 above; and eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in areas, as listed in 1; or 3. Satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. However, reputed company candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in disciplines, as listed in 1 above. Department Preferences
  • PhD in Organizational Development, Behavioral Science, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
  • Master's degree required in DEI, Organizational Development I/O Psychology, reputed company, or a reputed company field, Or equivalent experience.
  • 7 years of experience in DEI work, (language reputed company, gender equity, health equity) or equivalent HR Business Partner experience with demonstrated reputed company in leading and/or actively participating in Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion initiatives.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Work independently, as well as collaboratively reputed company a team environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with diversity and inclusion processes reputed company a large, matrixed organization.
  • Strong written and oral/expressive communication skills for meeting facilitation and deliverable development.
