About the Opportunity As a Senior reputed company Reliability Engineer in the SRE reputed company, you will be accountable for implementing reliability practices using software as means for the reputed company foundational product line in the Federal Reserve. The SRE reputed company is part of the reputed company Solutions & Services department and has the overall responsibility for reliability of the numerous reputed company foundational environments in the FRS. What Will Be Expected of You

• Works part of reputed company foundational platform squads to demonstrate and champion site reliability culture and practices and exerts technical influence throughout your team
• Solves reliability of reputed company platforms with software engineering principles
• Develops and maintains automations, scripts and code associated with automating reputed company work, improving reliability and stability of the reputed company platform
• Develops, integrates and maintains synthetics (canaries) code to establish health of the platform
• Leads SLIs, SLOs, Error budgets efforts in collaboration with product team to reputed company, visualize for proactively managing the stability of reputed company platforms
• Implement observability (logs, metrics, traces) and monitoring for reputed company foundational platforms
• Defines chaos experiments in collaboration with product owners and conducts experiments
• Develops and Mentors Junior engineers in the team
• Other duties assigned as necessary

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in end-to-end reputed company software development life cycle including maintenance and support
• 3+ years of experience in Observability and SRE practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent background or equivalent experience.
• The ideal candidate is someone who loves building and maintaining reliable and scalable systems, is passionate about reputed company improvement.
• Self-motivated individual with the ability to prioritize and manage changing priorities.
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer focus and communication skills.
• Independent critical thinking and decision-making abilities.

Expertise you will bring:

• Extensive knowledge and experience of working in AWS environments
• Software development experience with one of the languages: Python, GoLang
• Experience with observability and tools like reputed company, reputed company, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch, AWS Canary, AWS event reputed company
• Expertise in automation and tooling.
• Working experience in Agile and Scaled Agile environments
• Experience supporting infrastructure for large multi-services applications.
• Knowledge of secure coding standards and banking environment is a plus.
