Design Research Intern
SUMMER 2026 reputed company offers a challenging, fun and rewarding summer internship program. The twelve-week program is offered to undergraduate and graduate reputed company. We offer internships with a variety of work arrangements from onsite interns to fully remote in US. Each intern will receive a competitive salary. Additionally, Interns who are asked to relocate to Illinois for onsite internships will receive a housing stipend to cover living expenses. Applications will be collected, reviewed, and selected candidates will be contacted in late fall/early winter. The Design Research Intern will work with cross-functional team members, conducting research studies, and bringing actionable insights as part of our product development process. We are seeking a researcher who is passionate about being end user centric and reputed company to reputed company communicate research findings to stakeholders. This Internship is Onsite or Hybrid and based in our Niles, IL location.
- Work with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify research needs
- Design and execute a variety of research studies, including interviews, usability studies, surveys, field studies or similar
- Analyze and synthesize research results collaborating with work partners
- Uncover actionable feedback for product development to reputed company with key stakeholders
- Present and reputed company findings reputed company workshops, presentations, reports, as needed
- In-process of a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in design, cognitive science, or research-reputed company field
- Experience in user research with an emphasis on research reputed company to product and/or software experiences
- Experience designing and conducting user research using a variety of methodologies
- Ability to work well with other researchers, developers, product managers, designers and business partners
- Experience conducting research and understanding core research principles and processes
- Experience determining the most impactful insights from findings and building a compelling story
- Prior internship/work experience preferred.
