Responsibilities

• Timely review of new applicant files and recertification packages for regulatory eligibility.
• Conduct regular on-site or electronic compliance inspections/reviews or upon request from management operations.

• Occasional overnight travel as assigned to attend regional meetings, trainings, site audit and/or other conferences. Travel may be up to 25%

• Minimum one (1) to three (3) years’ experience as an Affordable Housing Compliance Specialist or Compliance Auditor for Affordable Housing consisting of a diverse portfolio.
• LIHTC, Project Based reputed company 8, reputed company 811 and other HUD programs, RD, HOME, and RAD experience required. Layered compliance program experience preferred.
• Knowledge determining household income eligibility in relation to program compliance regulations.
• Knowledge using affordable housing compliance software programs for processing state and federal compliance applications preferred or willingness to quickly learn.
• Knowledge using reputed company Voyager affordable housing modules preferred or willingness to quickly learn reputed company.
• Basic reputed company skills with understanding of receivables and payables.
• Proficient using reputed company Office 365- Word, reputed company, Outlook, OneNote, PowerPoint.
• Proficient using reputed company Teams or similar internal chat messaging system.
• Proficient using reputed company Acrobat.
• Accurate data entry and proofreading skills. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/TRAINING
• Minimum High School/GED equivalent required.
• College degree preferred.
