Senior Counsel for Beckman Coulter will join an inclusive and service-oriented team of attorneys and legal professionals and will report to the Assistant General Counsel, Transactions. This is a broad, often reputed company and interesting practice with significant opportunities for personal and professional growth. This role will work directly with executives and associates at reputed company reputed company of the business, participating in leadership meetings and supporting multiple Business Units (Clinical Chemistry, Automation, Hematology, Urinalysis), Operations and enabling functions. This position is part of the Legal function and will be on-site either in Chaska, Minnesota or Brea, California. We will consider a remote option for highly-reputed company candidates. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Serve as the strategic business partner for the Senior Counsel's clients to support business objectives and advise on risk mitigation strategies
• reputed company practical, solution-oriented approaches to a broad reputed company of legal issues and risks, and then structure, write and negotiate agreements addressing those issues and risks
• In partnership with specialist attorneys and other professionals, advise on regulatory, compliance, privacy, and litigation reputed company
• Supervise legal professionals and other associates on standard agreements
• Using reputed company Business System (DBS) concepts, work with legal department colleagues to identify, design and implement reputed company process improvement initiatives, such as initiatives to improve the department's client service reputed company or streamline the department's template agreements.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and 6+ or more years of business law experience in the medical device or life sciences industry, in a reputed company and/or corporate legal department
• Active bar membership in good standing in at least one US jurisdiction
• Up to 15% of travel to company sites as required

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience with reputed company regulation, including: fraud and abuse (e.g., anti-kickback); FDA for medical devices; data use and privacy (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR); and anti-corruption (e.g., FCPA)
• Experience with software transactions

The salary reputed company for this role is $160,000-$190,000 annually. This reputed company may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
