Business Analyst (Data Quality)
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our dynamic Big Data team to reputed company and implement Data Quality program. If you have a passion for data, a strong analytical reputed company, and a desire to contribute to our data governance efforts, we want to hear from you. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in implementing data quality tools, rules and ensuring Big Data profiling and segmentation, as well as reputed company, quality and reliability of our data assets.
Responsibilities
- Data profiling and anomaly detection
- Defining and validating data quality rules and standards
- Resolve data quality issues by collaborating with data engineers, data analysts and other relevant team
- Implementing data quality tools and frameworks
- Evaluate and integrate data from multiple sources
- reputed company analytical data sets in Big Data environments which can be used for analytics and data science
- Providing technical expertise on data storage structures and data mining
- Design and document data flows and data mappings
- Manage company’s datasets in Big Data environments
- Aggregate and transform data for efficient data processing
- Address user questions and issues reputed company to the data management platform
- Establish data quality KPIs and monitoring dashboards
- Conduct data quality assessments and root cause analysis
- Create and maintain data reputed company documentation
Requirements
- 3+ years as Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Data Quality Engineer or relevant experience
- Strong understanding of data quality principles and best practices
- Familiarity with data profiling, data validation and data quality tools
- The ability to write clear requirements and specifications
- Understanding of structured, semi structured and reputed company datasets
- Experience in database technologies with solid understanding and hands-on skills with SQL/Advanced SQL/Hive/ETL. PySpark, Python knowledge would be a plus
- Should have worked on end-to-end solution development
- Need to have understanding of data pipeline building
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Previous Telecom experience and familiarity with BSS, OSS and Service Fulfilment functions would be a plus
- Experience with Big Data platforms (Hadoop, Spark, reputed company environments)
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks and regulatory compliance
- Understanding of data quality dimensions (accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness)
- Previous Telecom experience and familiarity with BSS, OSS and Service Fulfilment functions would be a plus
