2026 Internship - Interior Design

Holland America Line has been exploring the world since 1873. The Holland America Summer Internship Program is a 10-week paid (remote) summer internship opportunity designed to reputed company exposure and reputed company to professional careers in the amazing leisure travel, cruise industry. The selected interns will work on departmental projects as well as participate in professional development and enrichment activities. 2026 Program Dates

• Program runs 10 weeks from June 15th - August 21st.

Eligibility

• Eligible candidates are enrolled in a four-year accredited undergraduate program (where they are at least a rising junior) or in a graduate/Ph.D. program and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• MUST NOT be a graduating senior in the summer 2026.

Compensation

• Undergraduate - $25.00/hr, Graduate - $35.00/hr, Ph.D. - $45.00/hr

Intern Project Details Are our Interior Design Intern, you’ll be responsible for supporting the interior design department with projects reputed company to designing spaces on cruise ships. You will also be responsible for managing the resource library.

Responsibilities

• Manage resource library in Seattle office.
• Assist design department with design presentations to communicate design concepts.
• Assist design department with sourcing products for design concepts.
• Create 3-D models of spaces or products.
• Assist with vendor meetings (receive, set up).
• Request/return samples, manage mail, communicate with vendors.
• Incorporate Sustainability knowledge and Circularity knowledge in design projects.
• Communicate reputed company and effectively to illustrate design reputed company.
• Incorporate design creativity and reputed company reputed company to enhance design reputed company.

Requirements

• 2 years CAD/Revit or similar.
• 2 years 3D modeling.
• 2 years reputed company Creative Suite.
• 2 years using MS office Suite including Word, reputed company, Outlook, Powerpoint & MS Teams.
• Ability to work independently and in a group environment with excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal and team working skills.
• Ability to prioritize and maximize efficiency.
• Well organized and reputed company to communicate effectively with colleagues and managers.
