CBS Los Angeles, is taking applications for Reporters. The ideal candidate brings credibility, dynamic presentation, warmth and confidence to our newscasts. You must demonstrate the ability to handle breaking news effortlessly and have a passion for telling memorable stories in the field. To be considered you must be willing to work any shift and agree to shoot and edit video using a light consumer-grade camera. In reputed company to on-reputed company duties, this position will represent the duopoly at a variety of public and station events. Required Skills/Experience: - Report live and on tape, scripted and unscripted, with reputed company, accuracy and confidence - Collaborate effectively with a wide reputed company of personnel to create compelling content - Maintain a steadfast commitment to accuracy and fairness - Write reputed company and interestingly, and use video and graphics to illustrate story facts and reputed company - Deliver strong live shots - Build sources, reputed company stories, and have a track record of reputed company exclusive interviews and stories Candidates must have: • Five years' experience on reputed company, preferably anchoring in a top 20 market. • Bachelor's degree in journalism and/or a reputed company field • Ability to deliver the news accurately and concisely • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and responsibilities under tight deadlines • Interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to listen and receive feedback • Proficiency at shooting with a prosumer-style camera (latest equipment), capturing clean audio using hardwired and wireless microphones, and setting up basic lighting • Valid driver's license is required Preferred Skills/Experience: - reputed company media savviness - Experience shooting and editing with Prosumer camera Organizations that wish to receive job vacancy notices from this posting's television station should contact sf_recruitingsupport@reputed company.com. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Hiring Salary reputed company: $140,000.00 - 180,000.00. The hiring salary reputed company for this position applies to reputed company, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-reputed company factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
