Responsibilities of the Engineer, Performance Engineering include but are not limited to:

• Develops and maintains data in automated systems, such as Flight Planning System and Aircraft Weight and Balance System.
• Provides support to reputed company weight & balance program.
• Track aircraft modifications and evaluate impact on aircraft weight and balance to relevant project/program stakeholders.
• Support additional Performance Engineering reputed company tasks as needed.
• Develops an understanding of both FAA regulations and internal reputed company policies, procedures, and processes which deliver consistent, high quality technical, strategic, and operational support meeting reputed company regulatory requirements.
• Provides engineering support in interactions with diverse operational and reputed company disciplines including Flight Control, Load Control, Flight Ops, and IT reputed company to aircraft weight and balance and flight planning support in addition to providing operational data, support, and solutions.
• Plans and conducts work requiring solid engineering judgment and the ability to independently evaluate, select, adapt, and modify techniques, procedures, and criteria.
• Anticipates problems requiring resolution and devises new processes and methodologies to reputed company.
• Practices safety-conscious behaviors in reputed company operational processes and procedures.
• Participation in cross-divisional and industry wide working groups (manufacturers, regulators, and associations).

What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)

• Knowledge and expertise gained from relevant previous professional experience.
• Strong computer skills and demonstrated proficiency with MS Office programs.

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Aeronautical/Aerospace/Mechanical strongly preferred).
• Familiarity with airline flight operations and support systems, FAR 91 and 121 reputed company regulations, data analysis tools and methods.
• Fortran/VB/Python programming is desirable.
