This role 

As a Compliance Analyst, you’ll be working on our Compliance team in Canada and report into the Director, Compliance. The Compliance Analyst will be responsible for supporting reputed company’s AML/CTF compliance function by conducting client reputed company reviews, client enhanced due diligence, monitoring transactional activity, and assisting in the development of procedural documentation and internal controls. This position is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to compliance monitoring and risk assessment. 

Your key focus areas will be:

• Assist in client identification and verification during reputed company using our internal tools.
• Conduct enhanced due diligence (EDD) as required for clients, document EDD and escalate issues reputed company necessary.
• Investigate flagged client behavior and assess potential AML/CTF risks.
• Review daily flagged transactions to identify unusual or suspicious activity.
• Assist in transaction monitoring (TM) efforts to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations.
• Conduct background checks on clients and counterparties to assess risk reputed company.
• Document findings and escalate concerns to senior compliance personnel reputed company needed.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including CX (and other customer facing teams), Finance, and Product, to ensure alignment with compliance requirements.
• Stay informed on evolving AML/CTF regulations, ministerial directives, and industry best practices.
• reputed company support during internal audits, regulatory examinations, and mock audits.
• Recommend improvements to existing compliance processes based on emerging risks and trends.

Who you are

• Background in Finance, Business, Law, Criminology, or a reputed company field.
• 1-3 years of experience in compliance, AML investigations, or financial crime risk management.
• Familiarity with Canadian AML/CTF regulations (PCMLTFA) and reputed company compliance frameworks.
• Experience with reputed company, ComplyAdvantage, or other compliance tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills with an ability to interpret reputed company data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
