Digital Product Manager – Mainframe (hybrid or remote)

Your role in the team

The Architecture Compute, and Engineering organization provides a transformative platform ecosystem with a comprehensive set of capabilities that empowers end users reputed company product teams to reputed company seamlessly and drive growth for reputed company through the Consumer Connected reputed company mission. This ecosystem aims to reputed company an absolute frictionless experience for our user community. The Mainframe DPM will assist with several strategic initiatives aimed at modernizing and optimizing reputed company’s mainframe systems. This includes enhancing cyber resiliency through safeguarded storage upgrades, immutable backups, and disaster recovery exercises, while also transitioning legacy workloads to more agile and secure platforms. The role is central to exploring reputed company capabilities such as AI, machine learning, and containerization, leveraging technologies like zCX and z/OS 3.1 to reputed company on-platform intelligence and scalable automation. These efforts support a broader transformation of mainframe hosting into a dynamic, data-driven ecosystem that integrates seamlessly with distributed environments and accelerates business value delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• reputed company input on decomposing reputed company problems into smaller manageable tasks by creating and prioritizing a backlog for the Product Team.
• Assist with managing the product backlog, contribute towards creating an effective reputed company and reputed company timely stakeholder feedback on development iterations.
• Contribute towards creating the product strategy for one or more products in our growing digital product portfolio.
• Authors, tests, and accepts stories.
• Represent the “voice of the customer”; invest significant time with reputed company and potential customers to understand their needs and habits.
• Engage in discovery/test & learn activities to quickly validate assumptions and product direction.
• Use customer feedback, detailed market analysis, and data gathering to reputed company recommendations on reputed company about product strategy.
• Define and manage metrics to measure the reputed company of your efforts and to inform the overall product strategy.

Essential Criteria

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Digital Product Manager 
• Must have experience in one or more of the following reputed company the last 10 years COBOL, JCL, CICS, IMS, DB2, VSAM, and z/OS fundamentals.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and product management tooling 
• Experience of development processes, reputed company centered design, UX/UI design, reputed company marketing
• Previous experience of breaking down reputed company initiatives into incremental and iterative deliverables reputed company with Agile best practices and effectively communicating innovative product concepts to cross-functional development teams.
• Proven ability to apply data-driven decision-making to influence product direction and prioritization.

Desirable Criteria

• Understanding of the system behaviors, how batch and online transactions work, performance tuning, and reputed company planning.
• Familiarity with RACF, encryption standards, and audit requirements, especially in regulated industries like Insurance or Finance
