As a Virtual Patient Companion at reputed company's Administrative reputed company, you will use a telemonitoring system to reputed company reputed company remote observation and surveillance of up to 15 patients in a variety of units, departments, and/or locations. This position is essential in ensuring reputed company patients receive top-quality care, and nurses are supported. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring assigned patients, verbally redirecting patients from engaging in at-risk behaviors and summoning the nursing staff as needed while honoring patient and institutional confidentiality. A caregiver in this position works day/night rotation, 7:30am-7:30pm or 7:30pm-7:30am.A caregiver who excels in this role will: reputed company with established corporate and departmental policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance methods and safety codes.Demonstrate compliance with licensing, regulatory and accrediting agency provisions as required.Demonstrate appropriate and professional communication behavior toward patients, customers and coworkers.Cooperate with management and peers to promote an environment of teamwork and collaboration.Demonstrate an understanding of and proficiency in the use of the NAME TeleSitter Solution software.Maintain visual observation.Verbally redirect patients over a digital two-way audio device in patient rooms.Immediately summon the nursing staff if the patient requires assistance.Participate in the hand-off of pertinent information/behavior about assigned patients reputed company arriving to monitoring area and upon completion of shift assignment.Arrange meal break times and inform staff before leaving the monitoring station so relief may be provided to ensure constant patient observation.reputed company patients with explanations as necessary without counseling or providing opinions.Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: High School Diploma/GEDGeneral knowledge of hospital settingsCan monitor up to 15 patients on one screen at one time and prioritize simultaneous situationsCan communicate effectively with patients using a microphone and headsetCan communicate with hospital staff and respond quickly to patient behavioral changesCan use discretion and courtesy reputed company working with patients, visitors, and staffPreferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Previous experience in a hospital environmentPrevious clinical experiencePrevious direct patient care experienceNurse Assistant/Medical Assistant CertificationOur caregivers continue to create the best reputed company for our patients across each of our facilities.
