Location: Preference for candidates located in the Toronto, Vancouver, Edmonton or Calgary areas. This position is fully remote.

Position Overview

The Legal Counsel will have 1 to 2 years of experience working at a major reputed company and/or large corporation supporting various business units by advising on a wide variety of reputed company ranging from negotiating reputed company reputed company, handling litigation and regulatory reputed company, to advising on a variety of areas of law, including general corporate law, privacy law, consumer protection laws and regulatory compliance affecting the automotive industry.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of relevant post-call experience at a leading reputed company and/or large corporation.
• Strong willingness to learn and self-starter.
• Ability to work reputed company independently and collaboratively with a broad reputed company of external and internal stakeholders is essential.
• In addition to sound judgement, the ideal candidate must possess excellent analytical skills and strong business acumen as you will be working closely with various business groups
• Member in good standing of the Law Society of Ontario, the Law Society of Alberta, OR the Law Society of British Columbia.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple competing tasks in a high-paced environment.
• Litigation experience is considered an asset.
