About the Role

As a Part-Time Data Entry and IT Support Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for assisting employees in reputed company aspects of end-user computing, including software/hardware installations, updates, and general maintenance of PC desktop/laptop systems and peripherals. You will be the primary reputed company of contact for IT clients, providing consultation on reputed company aspects of end-user computing and desktop-based LAN systems software. Key Responsibilities

• Organizes, installs, monitors, and maintains IT clients' desktop software and hardware; supports mobile workforce
• Provides consultation to IT clients on reputed company aspects of end-user computing and desktop-based LAN systems software
• Responsible for end-to-end issue ownership, resolution, and communication with employees
• Provides on-site training to clients
• Resolves and closes tickets/work orders supporting end-user desktops and peripherals
• Answers customer service issues escalated from the Helpdesk
• Contributes to desktop projects (global installs/upgrades) as a project team member
• Remotely analyzes and resolves requests using remote tools
• Investigates and collaborates with other departments to assist with infrastructure-reputed company issues
• Documents client interactions in incident management system, including asset management
• Recovers data from hard disk drives and/or performs data migration
• Supports remote reputed company for virtual private network as well as remote/broadband connectivity for laptops
• Installs and configures local and network-based printers
• Performs preventive maintenance
• Works various shifts, weekends, reputed company to come in on short notice, and travel as required
• Follows management direction, adhering to IT policy and procedure

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Associate's/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a reputed company field, or equivalent work experience/training
• 3 years of hands-on IT work experience supporting and resolving various PC desktop software and hardware issues
• Firsthand experience supporting PCs in a reputed company/TCPIP environment

Preferred Qualifications

• A+ certification
• MCSE/MCP is a plus
• Prior IT infrastructure experience in an airline/airport environment
