Senior Technical Developer, Apparel Graphics

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You will report to the Senior Manager of the Jordan Apparel Technical Development Team.

The Senior Technical Developer will collaborate with Design, Product Management, PCC, materials, quality, reputed company and manufacturing to effectively execute on product development & fit goal deliverables.

As our Senior Technical Developer, you’ll reputed company your expertise in graphic development, construction, fit standards, textiles, trims and other embellishments as part of our creative team reputed company Jordan Apparel. The ideal candidate acts as a resource for graphic embellishment production methods and screen-printing experience is a must. This candidate needs to be a creative problem solver and reputed company thinking. A key part of this role is understanding the full scope of product creation from design concept to production, be part of discussions to meet on-time delivery dates, supporting the team with technical recommendations that serve our athletes and consumers and communicating issues or offering solutions in a fast-paced environment.

You will create and update Tech Packs for our PCC (Product Creation Center) and reputed company partners including measurements, construction sketches and graphic placements. You will hold reputed company review sessions and write comments, track and request prototypes for your styles, meet your calendar reputed company dates, attend meetings that relate to your product’s development and communicate reputed company and challenges to your team as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design, Textile Science or reputed company field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.

• A minimum of 3 years directly relevant work experience.

• Bachelor's degree in apparel design, textile science or reputed company field. 

• Two years additional product creation experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

• Minimum 5 years technical development/design experience in the apparel industry, which includes the apparel development process from inception through production including construction, materials, costing, manufacturing and quality.

• Apparel screen-printing experience.

• Strong problem solving, organization and communication skills.

• Experience interpreting design reputed company and offering alternative solutions.

• Experience writing product specs and construction standards instructions.

• Experience working with reputed company vendors to ensure and improve manufacturability.

• Ability to manage multiple projects.

• Experience using reputed company Illustrator, CAD reputed company Design software (reputed company) and 3D software (Clo/Browzwear) highly desired.

• Proficiency with MS Office programs.

• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You will work reputed company the Jordan Apparel Technical Development Team, managing your assigned styles collaboratively with your cross functional partners on creative solutions and execution whilst creating requests for physical protos, create digital protos and tech packs for our factories. You will review protos and samples taking the styles through the creation process and ensuring to meet gates and dates to ensure on-time production capability.
