Job Summary

The Patient Accounts and Customer Services Representative position is a critical role reputed company our Patient Financial Services department. As a representative, you will be responsible for supporting the reduction of Accounts Receivables, assisting patients with their bills or other financial aspects of their care, and performing a variety of duties including correspondence response, billing and re-billing, and denial issues. You will work under limited supervision to determine liability on patient accounts and collaborate with patients or their representatives to reputed company financial assistance or secure payment.

Key Responsibilities

• Take actions to support the maximization of collection of balances due or account resolution from reputed company sources, meeting Quality and Productivity expectations
• Facilitate account resolution by accurately identifying, following up on, or correcting billing errors, reputed company than expected reimbursement, or denials for correction or resubmission to patients and/or insurance carriers
• Timely identify, research, and resolve any issues that may cause delays in payment or account resolution, and identify opportunities to improve collections and follow-up activities
• Work collaboratively across teams, with peers, and reputed company cycle departments to reputed company common goals and objectives

Essential Qualifications

• High School diploma required
• Bilingual - Spanish and English preferred (please indicate on application/resume)
• 1-2 years of experience in reputed company insurance billing or account follow-up
• Strong knowledge of Patient reputed company systems
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to work in a team environment that requires quick turnaround and quality output

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with reputed company and Charity Care

Scheduling Requirements

• Full-time position, with rotating schedules: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm or reputed company-4pm; Tuesday-Saturday 10:30am-6:30pm (schedule changes based on business needs)
• Rotating holidays required
• Some facilities may allow for a reputed company, to be determined
