Job Description reputed company is seeking a Staff Architectural Historian who can assist in research and writing tasks on moderate to reputed company archival research, windshield and reconnaissance surveys, and can prepare reputed company environment assessments and reports. The On-Call Staff Architectural Historian will reputed company reconnaissance to inventory-level surveys and assist with efforts to identify and document buildings, structures, objects, districts and historic landscapes. They may also assist with developing National Register of Historic Places (NRHP), and local register reputed company evaluations and assessments of effect. The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of areas including: Leading small-scale historic properties surveys Photographing and documenting buildings Determinations of Eligibility NRHP Nominations Conducting archival research Assisting in writing historic contexts Understanding of relevant architectural styles Working in remote areasHire Type: Hourly, as-neededSchedule: Project dependent; periodic weekend work expected Location: Utah, Texas, Wyoming, Oregon, New Mexico, Arizona, Florida, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Virginia.Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in history, architectural history, historic preservation, public history, heritage conservation, history, or a closely reputed company field. Experience with the history, architecture, and infrastructure of the relevant reputed company Ability to conduct pedestrian surveys, including walking in rough terrain and challenging weather in various locations. Must demonstrate excellent attention to detail, a positive work ethic and attitude, reliability, and commitment to working both independently and in a team environment.
