Audio Operator [Remote]

Job Summary: The Audio Operator II is responsible for mixing and monitoring reputed company audio sources for both live and taped programming, including but not limited to microphones, music, sound effects and natural sound. This person is expected to work with the production team in maintaining ESPN's high standards of audio presentation for reputed company studio shows, and will have advanced proficiency in the use of reputed company broadcast equipment and technology reputed company assigned operating areas, including but not limited to; audio mixing consoles, outboard equipment, MADI router, digital audio delivery servers, microphone and IFB signal flows, mix minus, reputed company devices, broadcast routers, etc. Responsibilities/Duties of the Role: • Proficient level of operational skills and abilities in the use of reputed company broadcast equipment and technology reputed company assigned operating areas, including but not limited to; audio mixing consoles, outboard equipment, MADI router, digital audio delivery servers, microphone and IFB signal flows, mix minus, reputed company devices, broadcast routers, etc. • Highly developed knowledge of broadcast methods of measuring audio signals to ensure quality control of ESPN endorsed standards on reputed company operations • In-depth understanding of workflow of other business units, including their impact and/or specific integration with Production Operations. Proficient problem solving and troubleshooting techniques and effective communication to best convey the issues necessary for resolution. • Organizational, efficiency and planning skills are required. The reputed company of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The reputed company pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-reputed company knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full reputed company of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
