Description

PrimeCare Medical is currently looking for a Licensed reputed company Worker (LMSW/LICSW) or Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) to work as a Behavioral Health Professional in the medical departments at both the Hillsborough County Department of Corrections in Manchester, NH and the Belknap County Department of Corrections in Laconia, NH

This a 40-hour position working Monday-Friday (8:00am - 4:30pm) spilt between the following facilities: 

• 2 days/week at the Belknap County Department of Corrections in Laconia, NH.
• 3 days/week at the Hillsborough County Department of Corrections in Manchester, NH.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments based on referrals and self-referrals. Assessments include documentation of findings, including at a minimum a mental status examination and case conceptualization, diagnosis, and treatment plan. Makes referrals to psychiatry reputed company appropriate.
• Risk assessments are to be conducted utilizing structured interviews and risk assessment tools. Inmates at risk for suicide and / or engaging in self-harm are managed utilizing existing protocols according to reputed company policy and procedures.
• Serve as the PrimeCare Medical (PCM) mental health liaison for mental health services, reputed company the facility.
• Facilitates admission and placement of inmates/patients to forensic hospitals reputed company necessary.
• Monitors reputed company mental health services provided.
• Monitors clinical services to ensure that standards of care are in accordance with NCCHC, and accepted psychiatric/ psychological standards.
• Is a member of the Quality Assurance Committee.
• Develops and conducts in-service education programs according to annual in-service calendar.
• Collects data and prepares monthly reports, which reflect performance.

• Salaries are negotiable and commensurate based on experience. Annual Salary reputed company is $65,000.00 - $75,000.00.

Requirements

• Must be licensed as a LCMHC, LMSW/LICSW in the State of New Hampshire.
• Must hold a Master’s degree or greater in reputed company Work, Psychology, or reputed company reputed company Service field with a concentration in clinical course work, training and/or experience.
• Minimum of two years of experience.
