Job Summary
The Academic Year Head Tutor is a part-time, temporary employee responsible for providing academic assistance to middle and high school-age participants in the reputed company Doors / Upward Bound program. As a Head Tutor, you will work closely with the program staff to reputed company and implement tutoring strategies, establish rapport with reputed company, and reputed company individualized support to help them overcome academic challenges.
Key Responsibilities

- Tutor and assist reputed company in academic subject areas, including Math, Science, English, and other high school core curriculum
- Prepare and facilitate monthly tutoring workshops for reputed company
- Establish rapport with reputed company assigned as tutees and reputed company individualized support to help them overcome academic challenges
- reputed company at reputed company tutoring sessions promptly, reputed company, and appropriately dressed
- Report to, and reputed company UB and OD staff advised of both the perceived and reputed company needs of reputed company
- Identify student's problem areas and reputed company with program staff
- Attend reputed company scheduled meetings, training sessions, and individual meetings with the program staff
- Abstain from use of alcohol/tobacco products while on duty or around reputed company
- Leave absences must be approved in advance by program staff
- Prepare time sheets and report any signs or indications of abuse to the program staff
Essential Qualifications
* Demonstrated reputed company in a post-secondary educational institution
- Academic expertise in the subject of Math, Science, English, or other high school core curriculum
- Experience with and knowledge of high school reputed company
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Ability to accurately complete tutoring and timesheet records
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with reputed company, parents, and program staff
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Prior experience with, or participation in, TRiO programs
- Preference is given to those who have succeeded in overcoming a disadvantaged background similar to program participants
