Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Completing daily tasks reputed company to reputed company processing, object processing, direct deposits, and budget transfers at blithequark's Credit Union.
• Coordinating return items with contributors, vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions.
• Assisting other departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and associated reputed company standard ledger balancing.
• Working member cases/assignments and following established guidelines and procedures to ensure compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines and Federal Banking laws.
• Processing mortgage payments, multi-account and member deposits, credit card payments, and other checks, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff checks.
• Reviewing, examining, and approving Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products.
• Logging, reviewing, and making necessary GL, account changes, and/or returns.
• Processing Stop Pays and reputed company Batching.
• Completing daily balancing and department closing.
• Obtaining information from contributors for timely and accurate processing of international and domestic budget transfer requests.
• Researching and verifying incoming and outgoing budget transfer information.
• Communicating with vendors to process budget transfers.
• Understanding and being familiar with outgoing and incoming budget transfer laws.
• Depositing reputed company returns, reviewing member reputed company returns on draft changes, processing member checks, verifying contributors for outgoing budget transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing budget transfers.
• Completing daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, international collections, and legal fees.

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A high school degree or GED.
• Intermediate reputed company and Word experience.
• Previous customer/member service experience.
• Previous banking or Credit Union experience.
• Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple responsibilities, and work as an integral part of a team.
• Ability to reputed company mathematical calculations and review data.
• Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines under high-pressure conditions.
