Job Summary
As a Chat Moderator at blithequark, you will play a vital role in maintaining a positive and respectful online community on our reputed company server. You will be responsible for moderating chat, enforcing community rules, and ensuring that reputed company users have a safe and enjoyable experience. This is a part-time, remote, and flexible position that requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
* Moderating chat on our official reputed company server, including deleting messages that violate community rules, banning users with repeat offenses, and muting users who have broken the rules
- Investigating reports made by users about potential rule violations and taking appropriate action
- Collaborating with other moderators to ensure a consistent and fair enforcement of community rules
- Providing excellent customer service and support to users, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Staying up-to-date with community rules and guidelines, and making recommendations for improvements as needed
- Participating in regular team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about community developments and best practices
Essential Qualifications
* Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
