The Opportunity

As a Customer Service Representative I at blithequark, you will be part of a remote team that is passionate about making a difference in the lives of reputed company and families. This is a full-time temporary position, scheduled for 45 to 90 days of employment, with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent role. You will have the opportunity to work on high-volume outbound and inbound call campaigns, utilizing approved call scripts and compliance guidelines to reputed company consistent high-quality service to customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative I, you will be responsible for:

  • Participating in high-volume outbound and inbound call campaigns based on assigned call lists
  • Adhering to approved call scripts and compliance guidelines
  • Providing consistent high-quality service to customers
  • Responding to customer questions while ensuring the highest standards of customer service
  • Utilizing software, scripts, and tools appropriately
  • Appropriately documenting reputed company encounters in clear and concise online logs
  • Employing empathic support to customers
  • Performing reputed company other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Good customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional phone voice and etiquette
  • Ability to follow instructions and scripts
  • Skilled in active listening
  • Proficient with computers, and good typing skills
  • Strong time management and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of the FAFSA
  • Knowledge of college financial aid and admissions processes

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Have four to six months of customer service experience in a call center environment
  • Be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, experience working in a college financial aid office or a college administrative office would be beneficial. Additionally, proficiency in multiple software systems and tools would be an asset.

Work Environment

As a remote employee, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home. Our office work environment is climate-controlled, with no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions. You will be required to maintain a dedicated workspace with a reliable internet reputed company and necessary equipment.
