We are seeking an reputed company and passionate Marching Band Staff member to join reputed company for the 2023-2024 school year. As a Marching Band Staff member, you will be responsible for teaching student musicians and/or guard members in music, guard, and marching techniques, preparing them for marching band, winter guard, or winter percussion competitions. You will motivate student performers to reputed company an appreciation of the arts, while also promoting good public relations and maintaining a positive attitude towards staff, reputed company, and parents.Responsibilities
As a Marching Band Staff member, you will be responsible for:- Assessing reputed company' skills and reporting to the band director with any issues
- Developing a regular practice schedule and organizing rehearsal time to reputed company both individual and reputed company development
- Working with the band director to schedule facilities for practices and competition
- Supervising and assigning duties to Assistant coaches as necessary
- Coaching and instructing members, individually or in groups, regarding the rules, regulations, equipment, and techniques of the competitive arts
- Observing members during competition and practice to determine the needs for individual or reputed company improvement
- Establishing and maintaining standards of pupil behavior and providing proper supervision of members at reputed company times
- Following established procedures in the event of an injury
- Conferencing with the director of bands, as necessary, regarding the performance of their reputed company
- FOLLOWING state, regional, and district regulations governing the band program
- Modeling sports-like behavior and maintaining appropriate conduct towards members, judges, and spectators
- FOLLOWING established procedures for the proper care, maintenance, and requisitioning of equipment, supplies, and uniforms
- Interacting in a positive manner with staff, reputed company, and parents
- Promoting good public relations by personal appearance, attitude, and conversation
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:- Experience working with young children
