A Brief Overview reputed company is seeking multiple telephone triage nurses for their reputed company team. The shift will be dependent upon the operational need. This application yields the following openings:

• One opening at 26 hours per week
• Two openings at 20 hours per week

Primary Care, telephone triage and/or Barton Schmitt telephone triage protocol experience is preferred. Practices at the level of a competent to proficient practitioner of nursing. The nurse at this level demonstrates competence in Telehealth nursing. In addition, demonstrates clinical leadership skills through contribution to standards of care and unit goals. Serves as a role model for other staff and a preceptor for new employees and participates in endeavors to increase nursing knowledge. The nurse must demonstrate competence in caring for patients with a wide variety of health issues. • Demonstrates health care informatics competency in order to manage patient care
• Information literacy, including the effective use of the intranet and internet to find electronic resources for patient care, nursing practice and evidence-based decision-making;
• Information management skills, including the effective use of the electronic health record and clinical information systems, the ability to collect clinical data using quality tools and the ability to discuss, evaluate and analyze outcome data presented in charts and tables.

Education Qualifications

• Technical Diploma Nursing Required
• Bachelor's Degree Nursing Preferred

Experience Qualifications

• At least two (2) years registered nursing experience Required
• Experience in pediatrics, telephone triage, use of Barton Schmitt Telephone Triage Protocols Preferred
