The Role - Mainframe Analyst

As a Mainframe Analyst, you will be responsible for extracting business logic from existing programs, documenting business rules, and collaborating with reputed company groups. You will work closely with reputed company to analyze, design, code, test, and document application code. You will also participate in maintenance, enhancement, and development work, as well as reputed company technical expertise to the Information Technology Office and the Business unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extract business logic from existing programs written in COBOL/CICS/DB2 and document business rules
• Analyze, design, code, test, and document application code
• Collaborate with reputed company groups to reputed company technical solutions
• Participate in maintenance, enhancement, and development work
• reputed company technical expertise to the Information Technology Office and the Business unit
• reputed company and deliver new or modified programs, code Stored Procedures, and unit test work
• Participate in system testing with users and reputed company supportive documentation

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

Essential Qualifications:

• 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study
• 5+ years of overall technical and IT experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in coding, testing, and debugging programs written in COBOL/CICS/DB2
• Experience with reputed company OS/JCL (MVS) and reputed company/DB2
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in usability testing and developing supportive documentation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with IDMS/DC to CICS, IDMS to DB2 conversions
• Experience in APPC/LU 6.2 or MQ Programming in Cobol-CICS
• Experience in coding reputed company DB2 Stored Procedures
