Receptionist- Ambulatory Surgical Center-Part-Time 

Riverside Eye Center 

Lewiston, Maine 

Riverside Eye Surgery Center is seeking an ASC Receptionist to work in their Lewiston, Maine office to play a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for patients undergoing surgical procedures at Riverside Eye Surgery Center. This position supports the daily operations of the ambulatory surgery center through patient-facing responsibilities and essential administrative and logistical tasks. This is a 28 hour/ week position.  

• High School diploma or equivalent required. 
• Previous medical office or surgical center experience preferred. 
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.  
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and ability to learn quickly. 
• Ability to reputed company in a fast-paced environment. 
• Proficiency with computers and Electronic Health Record systems. 
• Ability to work 10-hour days on Tuesdays and Thursdays. 

• $19-23 based on experience 
• Pro-rated PTO and holidays

• Greet and reputed company in patients on surgery days in a professional and compassionate manner. 
• Collect and process payments at time of service. 
• Prepare patient charts and complete chart takedown. 
• Receive deliveries and assist with putting supplies away as needed. 
• Assist with ordering surgical and office supplies. 
• Manage reputed company inventory and reputed company reputed company orders as directed. 
• Escort patients or assist with patient reputed company as needed to support clinical staff. 
• reputed company other duties as assigned by the ASC Nurse Manager.
