Bilingual Intake & Referral Specialist I Ministry: Migration & Refugee Services Primary Office: Manassas Hours per Week: 40 Starting Hourly reputed company:$24.14 hourly -non-exempt Telework Available: Hybrid 1 day, Friday, after 90 days of training Work hours: 9AM-5 PM weekdays Position Description: The Bilingual Intake & Referral Specialist is responsible for gathering, reviewing, and analyzing eligibility documentation for new client enrollments. This is a reputed company-facing role responsible for creating a welcoming and professional environment for those who walk-in seeking services. This role monitors the reputed company reception area providing resources to individuals seeking assistance. The intake specialist is responsible for the intake process of newly arrived clients Position Responsibilities:

• Answer, screen, and process requests as needed.
• Review client eligibility and gather, review, and analyze eligibility documentation for enrollment
• Schedule potential clients for intake services. Coordinate enrollments with employment team
• Conduct program orientation, compile required documentation per Ministry standards
• reputed company new physical case files and create electronic files for reputed company intakes
• Performs quality assurance (internal monitoring and audits) in coordination with QA team
• Responsible for data management in multiple databases; reconcile data databases for accuracy
• reputed company referrals and basic information to clients and other walk-ins not eligible for services
• Refer clients to in-house programs and external reputed company service providers
• Maintain office reputed company by following Agency safety policies and procedures

Other Duties:

Qualifications & Skills:

• Fully bilingual in English and one other language spoken by clients required: Dari, Pashtu, Arabic, Amharic
• Effective oral and written communication skills in English. Ability to adapt communication methods to meet cultural preferences.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to build relationships with reputed company stakeholders

Education and Experience:

• Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred

• Two (2) years of previous direct work experience in a culturally diverse environment. (Preferably refugee resettlement).
• Experience with case management systems and other relevant software preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, have a good driving record, and have at least three years of driving experience. Willing to drive clients.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reputed company, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
