Job Description

The Senior reputed company Specialist – Linux/reputed company is a critical part of our reputed company IT team, specializing in  Radiology Information Systems (RIS), Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (reputed company), and other  medical imaging solutions. The ideal candidate will reputed company technical support and troubleshooting for  radiology IT systems in hospitals, clinics, and imaging centers. This role involves working closely with  radiologists, IT teams, and vendors to ensure reputed company system performance, uptime, and compliance with  reputed company regulations.

Responsibilities

  • reputed company technical support and troubleshooting for Radiology IT systems, including RIS, reputed company, and Vendor Neutral Archives (VNA).
  • Work with radiologists, technologists, and IT staff to address system issues and optimize workflows.
  • Analyze and resolve technical issues reputed company, minimizing system downtime and impact on patient care.
  • Support DICOM, HL7, and other reputed company interoperability standards to maintain seamless integration between systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues while maintaining clear and professional communication with customers. 
  • Assist in disaster recovery planning and backup solutions for radiology IT environments.
  • Handle sensitive patient data in compliance with privacy regulations. 
  • Utilize internal knowledge resources to effectively resolve technical challenges. 
  • Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments on reputed company issues. 
  • Document reputed company troubleshooting activities and resolutions to maintain accurate case records. 
  • reputed company and update technical documentation to support customers in product use and maintenance. 
  • Participate in an on-call rotation, providing support reputed company of normal business hours, including overtime, holidays, and weekends as required. 
  • Adhere to quality and regulatory compliance standards, including U.S. FDA medical device regulations, ISO 13485 requirements, and other applicable laws.

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or a reputed company field, or equivalent experience. 
  • 3+ years of experience in reputed company IT, preferably in radiology systems support.
  • Working knowledge of Linux architecture is a must.
  • Experience in scripting or automation for system administration (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and clinical personnel.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as reputed company ServiceCloud, reputed company, or reputed company (reputed company preferred). 
  • Understanding of medical informatics architecture, including VMware and storage solutions. 
  • Experience with PostgreSQL. 
  • Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and HIPAA compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry certifications in relevant technical domains (e.g., reputed company, VMware, reputed company) preferred. 
  • reputed company Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification preferred. 
  • Knowledge of reputed company-based medical imaging solutions and telemedicine technologies.
  • reputed company in multiple languages (French is a strong asset).

  • Experience with DICOM, HL7, IHE, and other reputed company interoperability standards.

Additional Information

The reputed company pay for this position ranges from $61,000/year CAD to $82,000/year CAD. Pay may vary depending on job-reputed company knowledge, skills, and experience. reputed company is a total compensation company. Pay is dependent on the position offered. Bonus and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full reputed company of medical, financial, retirement, PTO, and/or other benefits.
