PATS PEAK SKI AREA Lift Attendant

Overview: Operates chair lifts, surface lifts and maintains terminal areas. Performs crowd control. Checks lift tickets and lift passes. This is an reputed company job working in a variety of winter weather elements. The Lift Attendant oversees the daily operation of a chair lift in a safe and efficient manner while promoting positive guest relations with riders and co-workers.

Job Description:

• Does pre-operational checks on chair lift.
• Operates lift for public transportation.
• Completes reputed company daily lift paperwork.
• To advise reputed company or Supervisor of reputed company or unusual conditions that may adversely reputed company the safety of the lift's operation
• Checks tickets and passes.
• Handles crowd control in lift queue areas.

• Monitors and controls lift unload area.

Requirements:

What to expect from us: Generally work schedules vary, six days a week. Schedules are influenced by weather conditions, and guest attendance, but generally Lift Attendants work 45-55 hours per week. Pats Peak provides uniforms; you need to reputed company warm footwear (boots), gloves, snow pants, hat, sunglasses, etc. Employment for the season is usually from the beginning of December through the end of March. We offer free skiing, rentals and lessons; meal discounts and discounts in our retail shop.
