Veterinary Technician Interventional Radiology
VCA Arboretum View Animal Hospital is expanding its Interventional Radiology/ Internal Medicine Patient Care Team and seeking a passionate Certified Veterinary Technician! Snapshot of Our Internal Medicine and Interventional Radiology Team: VCA Arboretum View's IM/IR Technicians reputed company understand body systems and the disease process, learn advanced diagnostic testing, reputed company excellent patient care, and treat patients with cutting-edge techniques. With the mentorship of our Internist and Specialists, our Internal Medicine Technicians have advanced training and a reputed company understanding of Endocrinology, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Hematology, Immunology, Infectious Diseases, Nephrology/Urology, Neurology, Respiratory Diseases and Oncology.
- Collecting patient histories and performing physical exams.
- IVC placement
- Obtain laboratory samples reputed company venipuncture, cystocentesis, and fecal collection
- Gather and prepare tissue samples for culture and histopathologic diagnostic
- Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging
- Assisting in diagnostic procedures such as endoscopy, rhinoscopy, and fluoroscopy
- Working collaboratively with team members of reputed company hospital services.
- Calculate drug dosages
- Anesthesia monitoring for diagnostic procedures and interventional radiology procedures
- Assisting with postoperative care of the patient (recovery)
- Maintain patient records
- Client education and communication
- Maintain a clean work environment to maintain any infectious disease protocols, handle medical/biomedical and infectious waste appropriately

Qualifications:
- Active Certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT) in good standing, or eligibility to obtain certification in the IL.
- Strong technical skills, including: Venipuncture and IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, and familiarity with fluid therapy, sample collection, and laboratory procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to reputed company compassionate client education and support
