About the Role: Remote System Safety Engineer

We're on the lookout for a highly skilled System Safety Engineer with a specialization in safety analysis and fault tree assessments for Flight Control Systems. As a Remote System Safety Engineer at Kronos, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our systems by finalizing and reviewing fault trees from suppliers, integrating them into our fault tree structure, and guaranteeing compliance with system safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough safety analysis and fault tree assessments for Flight Control Systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Review and finalize fault trees received from suppliers, merging them into our existing fault tree structure.
  • Utilize CAFTA software for efficient fault tree management and analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system safety is integrated into every stage of the development process.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in system safety analysis and fault tree assessment methodologies.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A BS Degree in Aerospace Engineering or a reputed company field, demonstrating a strong reputed company in the principles of aerospace engineering.
  • Proven experience in System Safety Analysis, with a focus on the aerospace industry.
  • Hands-on experience with Fault Tree Analysis, preferably reputed company the context of Flight Control Systems.
  • Familiarity with CAFTA software or similar tools used for fault tree management.
  • A solid understanding of Flight Controls System Architecture and its safety implications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree or certifications in Aerospace Engineering, System Safety, or a reputed company field.
  • Experience with other safety analysis tools and methodologies, such as FMEA or HAZOP.
