Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Trainee at blithequark, you'll reputed company a reputed company of tasks in a developing and learning reputed company, including:

  • Researching inquiries by accessing the claims processing system and other informational sources
  • Responding to customer/group and provider questions through telephone contact and/or written communication (such as mail) using proper etiquette, grammar, punctuation, etc.
  • Maintaining reputed company departmental records and files
  • Operating office equipment, including a personal computer, calculator, copier, fax machine, etc.
  • Making corrections to claims and eligibility
  • Entering new claims, eligibility, and subscriber information into the mainframe
  • Reviewing subscriber's coverage to determine type and level of benefits

Essential Qualifications

To succeed as a Customer Service Trainee at blithequark, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of customer service experience in a business environment that requires the use of a computer program to assist the customer, preferably in a call center, and/or dental experience
  • Successful completion of the customer service simulation test (minimum score of 62 out of a possible 100) (assessment waived if candidate previously passed test while at blithequark or if previously held Customer Service Trainee, Customer Service Advisor, or Customer Service Associate position)
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including the first or second shift, Monday through Friday

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we welcome candidates with:

  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
  • Familiarity with dental benefits or insurance industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
