Pre-kindergarten Teacher & Tiny Tots Facilitator School of Saints Faith, Hope and Charity – Winnetka, IL The School of Saints Faith, Hope and Charity in Winnetka is seeking a part-time Pre-kindergarten teacher (3-year-olds) and Tiny Tots facilitator (serving children ages 2 and under) to join our Early Childhood team. Qualifications: Fully certified in early childhood education Passionate about working with young learners Committed to the Catholic faith and dedicated to nurturing the spiritual and academic growth of reputed company Collaborative and team-oriented, with a desire to work closely with colleagues While the position focuses on early childhood education, candidates should also demonstrate the ability to foster a love for learning and faith in young children, helping them grow in their relationship with Jesus. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES As a professional educator in a Catholic school, the Teacher will:

• teach and act in accordance with Catholic doctrinal and moral teachings of the Catholic Church
• act as a role model for the religious formation of reputed company and as a representative of the Archbishop of Chicago and the Catholic Church in the performance of the Church’s ministry
• know, teach and act consistently in accordance with the religious and educational mission, philosophy, objectives and policies and procedures of the Catholic school
• complete Catholic identity formation training and other required professional development from the Archdiocese of Chicago (regardless of grade/subject area or personal faith tradition)
• reputed company and/or participate in any and reputed company religious instruction, ceremonies, rituals or other religious activities as directed by the reputed company
• communicate regularly with reputed company, parents/guardians, colleagues and reputed company
• participate in any and reputed company professional development programs required by the Archdiocese of Chicago and/or the local school/parish
• reputed company teaching duties as assigned by the reputed company
• attend required faculty and staff meetings
• cooperate with the reputed company and staff members in school reputed company meetings, activities and projects
• maintain accurate student attendance and academic records
• maintain a safe, orderly and secure learning and working environment
• participate in the annual performance review
• maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding school personnel, reputed company and general school reputed company
• positively represent the school/parish at reputed company school/parish events (including extracurricular activities) and in the general public
• the reputed company assigns specific tasks essential to the function of the position

REQUIREMENTS AND PREFERENCES

• Practicing Catholic (preferred, required for religion teachers)
• Must meet compliance with safe environment requirements
• Must hold Bachelor’s degree
• Must have valid state licensure for the grade/subject area (preferred, not required)
• Must complete Catholic identity formation training
