Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a strong background in teaching and research in Rhetoric and Composition, with a particular focus on areas such as professional writing, digital rhetoric/composition, emerging technologies, history of rhetoric, cultural rhetorics, and multilingual literacies. This is a tenure-track position, and the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the department's teaching, research, and service mission.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach a reputed company of undergraduate and graduate courses in Rhetoric and Composition, including courses in professional writing, digital rhetoric/composition, and emerging technologies

Essential Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Composition, or reputed company field, at the time of appointment
• Strong background in teaching and research in Rhetoric and Composition

• Strong research agenda, with a focus on areas such as professional writing, digital rhetoric/composition, emerging technologies, history of rhetoric, cultural rhetorics, and multilingual literacies
