Job Summary

We are seeking reputed company Assistant Football Coaches to assist in the planning, development, and implementation of our interscholastic sports program at South Eugene High School. As an Assistant Football Coach, you will work closely with our head coach and other team members to design and deliver high-quality coaching, training, and mentorship to our student-athletes. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, organization, and coordination of the football program, including practices, games, and training sessions

• Ensure compliance with district policies, procedures, and regulations, as well as Oregon High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) rules and guidelines

Essential Qualifications

• Two years of experience as an interscholastic sports coach, preferably at the high school level
• Minimum age of 22 years or be a college graduate
• Possession of a valid Red Cross First Aid Certificate, including CPR training methods and procedures
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with diverse reputed company, staff, and community populations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to reputed company clear instructions, feedback, and guidance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working as a teacher in a secondary setting
• Earned baccalaureate or higher degree from an accredited college or university in physical education or a closely reputed company area

• Bilingual proficiency and/or multicultural experience
• Prior experience coaching football, specifically in the areas of Offensive/Defensive Line, Wide Receiver/Defensive Back, or Running Back/Linebackers at the varsity level

• Knowledge of principles, goals, and objectives of public education and interscholastic sports programs
• Understanding of policies, regulations, and procedures pertaining to interscholastic sports performances
• Ability to analyze and assess interscholastic sports program needs and offer recommendations for program activity revisions, additions, or deletions
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with reputed company, staff, and the community
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations and promote inclusivity and equity
