Key Responsibilities

• Transcribe Dictated Recordings: Transcribe dictated recordings varying in audio length and quality, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Format Legal Documents: Properly format legal documents, insurance forms, letters, memos, and notes, adhering to client preferences and guidelines.
• Transcribe with Accuracy: Transcribe with proper spelling and capitalization of legal terms, medical terms, locations, and names.
• Conduct Basic Research: Conduct basic research as needed to ensure the accuracy and completeness of your work.
• Adhere to Guidelines: Adhere to E-Typist Guidelines and/or client preferences and proofread work before submission.

Essential Qualifications

• Typing Speed: Type at least 65 WPM.
• Dictation Transcription Experience: Dictation transcription and word processing experience in an office environment, reputed company the last five-year period.
• Formal Correspondence: Good working knowledge in the creation of formal correspondence, memos, reports, etc.
• Legal Terminology: Legal, workers’ comp terminology needed.
