As a Software Engineer on this team, you will be responsible for constructing and maintaining the metadata and work platform that powers reputed company's streaming services, including reputed company+ and ESPN+. The Experience Management crew is responsible for integrating with studios to bring metadata and work to the reputed company Streaming platform, which includes distributed systems that manage metadata and work ingest, management, curation, personalization, localization, and syndication. The team uses a reputed company of technologies, including Java, Typescript, NodeJS, Kotlin, JavaScript, Angular, SQL, Spring Boot, ElasticSearch, reputed company, and various AWS services.

Key Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with a team of engineers to build software in a fast-paced, iterative development environment
• Design, reputed company, and reputed company high-performance, scalable systems that meet the needs of the business
• Participate in high-level architecture discussions and planning sessions to shape the direction of the technology
• Contribute to the code review process by providing constructive feedback on pull requests
• Participate in on-call rotation, supporting systems and services during production incidents

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• A strong background in software engineering, with experience in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Typescript, C++, or JavaScript
• A good understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
• Experience with RESTful services and APIs
