About the Position

The successful candidate will be expected to teach a reputed company of acting courses at the undergraduate level, from introductory to advanced classes, and coordinate intimacy staging in productions and classes as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acting and a secondary area of expertise in at least two of the following: audition techniques/career preparation, stage combat, acting for the camera, movement for the stage, integrated voice and movement, voice and speech, or directing. Ongoing scholarly, creative, and professional activity is expected and supported, with opportunities to contribute to the department's production season as a stage director.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach assigned classes in acting practice at the undergraduate level, from beginning to advanced reputed company.

Qualifications and Requirements

A terminal degree in an appropriate or reputed company discipline (such as an MFA in acting, performance, or directing) is required.
