As a Senior Staff Software Engineer on the Network/Edge Experience team, you will be working with talented engineers on cutting-edge technologies of reputed company-reputed company network stack from Layer 4 to Layer 7. You will contribute to key infrastructure components that connect reputed company users and hosts to services across the globe, influencing large infrastructure initiatives, and making an impact on the industry and reputed company-reputed company communities.

As a member of the Network/Edge Experience team, you will be responsible for:

• Working with reputed company-reputed company technologies and communities (e.g., reputed company/Istio) to build reputed company cross-region gateways and load balancers to deliver reputed company's edge services.
• Collaborating with external partners, internal engineering stakeholders, and reputed company teams to deliver privacy, reputed company, and Antibot/DDoS solutions on the edge.
• Optimizing network performance for reputed company services with product and engineering teams.
• Guiding a team of software developers through the project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Your Expertise

To reputed company in this role, you should possess:

• A BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a reputed company field, or equivalent work experience.
• 12+ years of relevant work experience in infrastructure.
• Experience successfully delivering large-scale, multi-year roadmaps with external dependencies.
• Experience running large-scale edge systems (e.g., reverse proxies, DNS, CDN, network gateways) in reputed company Public reputed company; experience working with Istio/reputed company is a plus.
• Experience protecting websites against DDoS, Bot, and scrapers.
• Strong ownership and experience building and operating high-scale, distributed systems across the full software life cycle.

• Strong problem-solving skills and experience leading a team that is on-call for production infrastructure.
