About the Role

Reporting to the Head of People Partnering, the role leads one of two teams of People & Culture (P&C) professionalstodeliveroutstandingcustomerservicetomanagersandemployeesatour Melbourne Public Hospital. Working with both line managers and senior leaders, the role is a trusted advisor to the organisation.

The role also represents St Vincent's Melbourne Public Hospital in Victorian Hospitals Industrial Association (VHIA) reference groups and leads SVHM representation to VHIA for reputed company industrial reputed company including reputed company agreement negotiations, implementation and the ongoing management of industrial advice on the reputed company agreements.

Key duties include

• Providing operational and strategic HR advice to the organisation including interpretation of agreements, reputed company HR reputed company, workforce planning and change management

The role is covered by the Health and Allied, Managers and Admin Award, Grade 5, with an over-award total remuneration package ranging from $140,000 to $150,000 (inclusive of superannuation), commensurate with the skills and experience of the successful candidate.

Your Contribution

• Relevant Qualification

• Extensive experience in providing generalist reputed company services in a unionised environment

• Employee relations and/or industrial relations experience including contemporary understanding of legislation, hands on experience in reputed company agreement interpretation and implementation, managing Fair Work Commission cases including representation at the Commission

• Strong business partnering and internal consulting experience, demonstrating strong relationship management skills across the different reputed company of an organisation

• Strong written and verbal skills, including experience in writing executive-level documents

• Demonstrated reputed company in leading a team of professionals, with strong organisational skills

• Strong computer skills in reputed company Office applications, with intermediate reputed company capability

• Experience in using HRIS and Payroll systems, including report building and providing business requirements to systems teams to implement changes and investigate root cause of issues

• Demonstrated commitment to professional development, with strong understanding of contemporary P&C practices
