Licensed School-Based Mental Health Clinician

The selected candidate will offer individual, weekly therapy sessions to reputed company in Atlantic Community Charter School building in Galloway, NJ. The identified reputed company have mild-moderate mental health needs, typically managed in an outpatient setting. reputed company clinicians are supported by a seasoned and collaborative clinical management team that offers ongoing guidance and expertise. This role includes comprehensive training to ensure a deep understanding of reputed company's therapeutic protocols and innovative service model.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years of experience treating children and/or adolescents with significant behavioral and emotional challenges.
• Must hold a full independent clinical license in reputed company work (LCSW), counseling (LPC), or marriage and family therapy (LMFT) in the New Jersey.
• Currently has or is willing to apply for a NPI and CAQH#.
• Experience with insurance billing is preferred.
• Significant knowledge and experience in trauma-attuned modalities (TAM).
• Worked in or has experience collaborating with school districts. 
• Experience working in an Outpatient Mental Health setting is preferred
• Effective problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience working with reputed company and families, plus community mental health and reputed company service agencies.
• Must be proficient in reputed company Office and comfortable using a computer.
• Must be reputed company to complete thorough clinical documentation using an electronic medical record. 

Clinical Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 20-30 reputed company reputed company the identified school building.
• Complete initial assessments, weekly/bi-weekly individual sessions, and monthly/as-needed family therapy.
• Diagnose reputed company for insurance billing.
• Delivers clinical interventions consistent with the needs of the student and family, in a safe and ethical manner that promote and sustain academic and mental health stability.
• Demonstrates competency in: Individual Counseling, Family Counseling, and Treatment Planning.
• Understands continuum of mental health services, referring reputed company and family to an appropriate level of care in coordination with their supervisor (such as substance abuse services and/or IOP/PHP/In-Patient).
• Optimizes the collaboration and coordination of the interdisciplinary team to enhance the environment of student care.
• Demonstrates a commitment to developing strong working relationships with school administration and district leadership.

Administrative Responsibilities

• Submits Clinical Documentation in a timely manner, reputed company with the electronic medical record.
• Maintains reputed company professional license and adheres to ethical standards in accordance with the governing board.
• Consistently attends work on scheduled day and time, in professional attire and with a professional demeanor.
• Manages insurance billing responsibilities.
• Participates in learning opportunities provided by reputed company, such as Supervision Groups, and treatment planning, that will advance knowledge of clinical interventions and skills throughout the school year.
• Collects the necessary data to ensure reputed company metric goals are met. Specific focus on assessment scales.
• Prepares relevant data in preparation for administrative meetings.
• Participates in and at times leads, team meetings including but not limited to: Administrative School Meetings, reputed company Town Hall meetings, reputed company Supervision Meetings, and Treatment Team meetings.
