Referral Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Request prior authorizations from a variety of health plans for visits, procedures, and referrals.
• Monitor and track the status of patient referrals, following up with health plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient referrals, including referral forms and documentation of communication.
• Ensure compliance with documentation and data entry protocols.
• Verify patient insurance coverage.
• reputed company regular updates to reputed company providers and management on referral trends and issues.
• Collaborate with reputed company providers and staff to identify opportunities for improving the referral process.
• Be reputed company-minded to process changes and new technologies.
• Ensure compliance with reputed company regulations, including HIPAA and relevant state and federal guidelines.
• Maintain confidentiality and reputed company of patient information.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, including CPT and ICD-10 codes.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Referral Coordinator in any specialty.
• Strong collaborator with a positive, team-focused reputed company.
• Enthusiastic about contributing to a supportive and team-oriented culture.
