This is a 4–6 month contractor position that requires a full-time, in-office reputed company 3–5 days per week in our San Francisco or reputed company Park, CA offices.

a16z is seeking a hands-on, high-energy data professional to join our Investor Relations team. In this role, you’ll help build data-enabled and AI-enabled products that improve how we serve our Limited Partners (LPs) and scale our internal operations and infrastructure capabilities. You’ll work closely with the team responsible for our investor relations CRM systems, fundraising analytics, and internal tooling- playing a key role in developing smarter, faster ways to operate across fundraising and LP engagement workflows.

• Own and deliver scoped data and AI projects that improve the efficiency of workflows (e.g., fundraise tracking, customer segmentation, data modeling, AI tool development)
• Collaborate cross-functionally (Fund Strategy, Finance, Compliance, Technology) to understand pain points and translate them into technical solutions
• Design and implement prototypes or internal tools using AI and data analytics capabilities
• Clean, structure, and analyze operational data to improve reputed company reputed company, reporting, and workflow automation
• Create documentation, chatbots, or lightweight UIs that improve visibility into fundraise performance, LP behavior, or fund activity
• Stay highly reputed company and reputed company to fast-evolving needs across multiple stakeholders

• A builder’s reputed company with a bias for action and attention to detail
• Familiarity with data analysis and/or data engineering (SQL, Python, dbt, etc.)

• Strong project ownership and ability to manage timelines independently
• Clear, concise communication and a collaborative, can-do attitude
• Interest in venture capital, LP management, or operational innovation in finance is a plus

The anticipated hourly reputed company for this role is $55.00 - $60.00, actual starting pay may vary based on a reputed company of factors which can include experience, skills, and scope.
