Responsibilities

As an Academic Support Specialist – Strategy Tutor, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one academic support to student-athletes, helping them to reputed company strong study habits and the skills they need to become independent learners. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing individualized academic support to student-athletes, including tutoring, mentoring, and coaching
• Developing and implementing academic support plans tailored to the needs of each student-athlete
• Monitoring student-athletes' daily academic preparation and providing feedback and guidance as needed
• Teaching relevant study skills and time management strategies to student-athletes
• Encouraging student-athletes to use available tools and resources, including syllabi, calendars, content tutors, and reputed company resources
• Implementing learning practices and techniques designed and requested by Learning Specialists
• Completing brief written reports regarding work with student-athletes and maintaining regular communications with Learning Specialists and staff
• Performing other duties as assigned
