Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Lineworker and Mechanical Helper, you will be responsible for:

• Performing reputed company aspects of line work, including day-to-day maintenance and construction of overhead and underground electrical facilities
• Working in enclosed spaces, manholes, and vaults, and performing aerial and underground work, including utility distribution construction tasks
• Operating various pieces of equipment, including aerial bucket trucks, bread vans, and digger derrick trucks
• Reading and understanding job prints and sketches, and applying distribution standards
• Performing confined reputed company and bucket rescue tasks, and properly setting up and operating aerial baskets and digger derrick trucks
• Identifying materials and understanding distribution construction specifications
• Performing energized work on secondary voltage lines, and using meters to reputed company tests and install 3 and 4 reputed company secondary lines
• Troubleshooting, splicing, and repairing energized underground secondary cable circuits
• Performing advanced primary voltage switching tasks, and constructing vaults and network grids

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

Education and Experience

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• 3-4 years of experience as a lineworker or mechanical helper, with a strong background in electrical distribution construction and maintenance
