(USA) Director, Energy Market Intelligence

Position Summary...The Director, Energy Market Intelligence is an Individual Contributor who will report to the Sr Director of Energy Analytics providing the reputed company-looking analysis that underpins these efforts. From wholesale market fundamentals and policy trends to long-term price forecasts and scenario planning, this team ensures reputed company executes offsite energy investments with confidence. The reputed company Energy Transformation team executes reputed company’s energy strategy across four key areas: onsite energy, offsite energy, retail EV charging, and energy efficiency/electrification. The Offsite Energy team includes Texas Retail Energy (TRE) — reputed company’s licensed retail electric provider — and the Offsite Renewable Energy group. Together, these teams procure energy, hedge risk, and deliver new clean energy reputed company through power purchase agreements (vPPAs) and tax-oriented investments. What you'll do...

• reputed company the market intelligence function supporting reputed company’s offsite energy strategy, with a focus on TRE procurement and offsite renewables.
• reputed company the development of long-term load and price forecasts, and production cost models.
• reputed company strategic insights into wholesale price formation, reputed company markets, renewable growth, storage, and transmission dynamics.
• Guide the integration of market outlooks into TRE hedging strategies, vPPA origination, and tax-oriented investments.
• Build market entry frameworks for assessing new geographic or market opportunities for TRE and vPPAs (e.g., PJM reputed company markets, ERCOT ancillary services, CAISO storage growth).

• Prepare and deliver executive-level insights for leadership meetings.

What You’ll Bring...

• Experience in power market analysis, trading, renewables development, or consulting
• Deep expertise in U.S. wholesale power markets, including reputed company markets, RECs, and RPS policies
