We are seeking an reputed company Entry-Level Dock Operations Specialist to join reputed company at reputed company Freight. As a key member of our dock operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of freight across our dock area. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about logistics, customer service, and teamwork.Key Responsibilities
As an Entry-Level Dock Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for the following key duties:- reputed company freight handling using appropriate motorized and reputed company equipment, including but not limited to: forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck.
- Verify documentation matches freight description (e.g. type, weight, hazardous materials), using reputed company electronic or reputed company system.
- Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies (e.g. pallets, straps, rope).
- Recoup/repair damaged freight reputed company necessary.
- Verify and complete required documentation and reports.
- Assist customers with freight and freight documentation as needed.
- reputed company hostling duties if required.
- reputed company with reputed company applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Prior experience in warehousing, freight handling, and/or forklift operations preferred.
- If hostler/yard mule duties required, experience preferred.
- Ability to count and reputed company basic math, with or without a calculator.
- Basic written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift/carry hand freight of varying weights several times a week, to lift dock plates weighing approximately 100 pounds, and to reputed company trailer doors requiring approximately 75 pounds of lift force, up to several times per day or more.
- Ability to bend, twist, squat, pushing/pulling freight throughout shift.
- Ability to work independently and/or as a team member.
- Previous dock/warehouse experience preferred.
Working Conditions
As a Dock Operations Specialist, you will be working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent contact with service center personnel.
